Save the Velvet Hippo!

I rescued my beloved Athena when she was 5 months old. She had been tied up with no food and no water and every night I snuck water and snacks to her until one day during a storm that was a cold front, I said no more. I trudged through rain and lightning and snatched her up. We never looked back. She will steal your heart, your snacks, and love. Fast forward to 6 and 1/2 years, and today it was confirmed that she has Lymphoma. Treatments are very expensive but I will do whatever I have to do for my nugget. I don't ask for help often but I am asking now. If you have even one dollar to spare, I am asking for it. The idea of losing my girl in a month is more than I can stand. Life has had a pretty sick sense of humor lately and I am at my breaking point. Thank you to anyone that helps.
