My name is Rhiannon Rouyre owner and lead photographer of Reverie Studios TX, located in Fort Worth TX.

I’m a single mom fighting to rebuild my life after escaping a 10+ year mentally, emotionally and financially abusive marriage.

My boudoir photography studio isn’t just my business—it’s my safe space for so many women, my passion, and the foundation of my future. But after years of control, betrayal, and financial abuse, I was forced to file bankruptcy due to unknown debt that was accumulated in my name. Now, 18 months later I am at risk of losing the studio that means everything to me and the hundreds of women that I have had the honor of helping..

My studio is more than just four walls—it’s a 104-year-old space filled with history, creativity, and empowerment. My ex-husband moved me into this studio with the promise that he would help me renovate the space, build my business, and create something beautiful. Instead, after luring me into what I thought was a shared dream, he blindsided me by serving me divorce papers right there in the studio walking away without a second thought, leaving me with nothing but mounting debts, legal fees, and a business I now had to fight for this and go to war at the same time.

Surviving an abusive marriage, was hard enough, before serving me with divorce papers, I was at one of my lowest and most vulnerable moments as his narcassistic abuse was intensifying, I was struggling to cope, and I expressed I wanted to kill myself, please know that I truly want to live, I have so much to live for.. but I was broken, completely tapped out and wanted him to please just stop hurting me. Instead, he had me arrested and admitted into a psych ward. Thankfully I was not there long and the staff understood quickly what was actually transpiring.

Instead of support, I was met with even more manipulation and further control, even going as far as taking my daughter in the name of I was an unfit mother. He called every mutal friend and family member to start the discard smear campaign.

While I was fighting to reclaim my sanity, he was ensuring I lost everything... The financial and emotional devastation that followed has nearly broken me.

The damage he inflicted hasn't stopped with the divorce. Even after I fought my way back to my feet, he and his new girlfriend took their attacks even further. They had my business’s social media accounts taken down. This was occuring while my home was on fire, literally my house was burning and they were mass reporting my social media acounts—the accounts I spent 10+years building. My main source of marketing and income was erased overnight, leaving me scrambling to reach clients and keep my business alive....

I have zero family support. No safety net, no one to lean on. Every step forward, I’ve had to take completely alone. And now, I’m at a crossroads: without urgent help, I will lose my studio, my livelihood, and the last piece of stability I have left.

Boudoir photography is about more than just taking pictures—it’s about empowerment. It’s about helping women reclaim their confidence, embrace their beauty, and rewrite the way they see themselves. I’ve built this studio into a place where survivors, single moms, women and men can learn to love parts of them they lost touch with along their journey.

Losing this studio doesn’t just mean losing my business. It means losing a space that has helped so many women heal—including myself.
