I am Unchalee, people at work calls me Chalee…I’m Sid and Harry’s (cats) mum…

As many of you already know, I lost Sid on the 19th November 2025 at 16:44

I love gardening and am a animal lover especially cats and dogs, birds and bees.

I’m originally from Thailand but moved to the UK almost 30 years ago.

I live with my partner and our other cat Harry in a small house with good size garden for Harry and wildlife to enjoy.

I have two younger sisters living in Thailand and they are both absolute angels, they rescue strays and abandoned cats and dogs, give them basic care and provide a safe space for them to be out of danger, ie poison or injured by vehicles and other kind of cruelties.

We spayed/neutered and vaccinated our rescues. Last year total running costs were almost £6500 which was a huge amount of money in Thailand, my youngest sister Matthana @matthana_petcharat who is the main financial supporter for the animals.

My middle sister Anong is day to day carer for 27 dogs and 15 cats in a small piece of land in the countryside in Thailand. There are another 5 cats in Bangkok with Matthana. Anong has a severely disabled husband that needs 24 hours care, she works full time from home.

My youngest sister Matthana is struggling financially to support the strays so I have stepped in for the last 18 months but can only support in a relatively small way with help and the generosity of people I know.

Losing Sid has been the hardest heartbreaking I have ever experienced and I need to turn my grief into something meaningful to keep Sid’s memory alive and he needs to leave his legacy to help the strays with food and vet’s bills and mostly to be able to provide these strays with safe space, and to show them love and kindness..
