Hello everyone. Yes, we have reached that time. The Stage Door has started a Go Fund Me in hopes of saving our business we have worked so hard to get off the ground this past year. This was one of our last resorts, as we know everyone is hurting right now. But this is where we are at, unfortunately.
We have applied for the PPP loan and the EIDL from the SBA weeks ago, and have still heard nothing. Most grants or other loans that are available dry up at an unbelievable rate, and we do not qualify for some because we are so new. Some of you have already donated or bought gift certificates from us, and please know that that is so appreciated!
Being a new business, we have not been making any profit- just enough to keep going monthly, as is the case with most new businesses. We were finally about to turn a corner with summer coming, but unfortunately the pandemic took hold. We are a bar, so we will not be able to open until Phase 2 if all goes to plan. However, we do not know when it will be safe for us to do so.
We are asking for $10,000. With this money we have to pay 2 months in back rent, pay our loans, utility bills, and completely re-stock all of our food that has expired, and re-stock our liquor as well.
We know this is an extremely hard time for people, and especially small business. If you like who we are, what we do, or just like our fancy cocktails, please feel free to donate what you deem appropriate. We know a lot of you are not in a position to donate, and that is OKAY! Just keep sending your good vibes, prayers, and energy our way.
