Hope Outreach has helped to house hundreds of family's here at the main house or on the property due to disasters. This summer they began a project to repair a large drainage roof leak. However as Covid hit and more recently the River Fire, it took a toll on the funds to be able to repair it. We have had many of the disaster survivors come up to help however the family's we currently have housed at the main house have amputated limbs, fire survivors and women of Domestic Violence and are not physically able to help.
Last 2 years we have began the process of repairing it but due to the enormous disasters here in Northern California and the US the funds have gone to help family's of the Northern California Fire Survivors, Domestic Violence Survivors and the Homeless here on the property grounds.
This year in the middle of ripping the tar off the roof and getting the area ready to repair, the beginning of the biggest storms of northern California came upon us. We have bought hundreds of dollars of tarps but the winds are ripping them to shreads. We have tried to cover the deck however it will not drain correctly and is running into the sides of the walls. We are currently in need of the funds to have possibly a fumigation company come out and tent part of the main shelter of H.O.P.E Outreach or a roofing company to come re-tarp it up so the storm does not bring enough water damage to collapse into the main floor.
