Hey guys, I'm Mikhail Sadatierov, a member of the Post 1010 rocketry team, hosted at the Rockville Science Center. Unfortunately, we received an alert from the owner of the property to move out of it. The RSC (Rockville Science Center) was a staple for STEM events and clubs happening in our small community for 17 years. It has cultivated multiple events and helped its teams engage and triumph in multiple competitions. The RSC presents a substancial number of STEM extracurriculars, for little kids constructing simple robots out of Lego to high schoolers competing in challenges that are recognized by top universities, where teams of Drones, Rocketry, Botball and FTC have competed and won. In order to continue our lasting positive impact on young minds in the area, we need to reach a goal of $1,000,000 in order to stay at our location. As a 10th grader, I can already feel the impression and significance of the effect the RSC has had on me, as it had on students that joined before me.
