Save the Riverside 18

We got a desperate call on Nov. 22 about a gentleman who had been in a coma for 3 weeks after battling cancer.
He has 18 senior cats needing rescue and if these cats got to the shelter we know they will not have a chance and most likely will be euthanized.
 Less than 24 hours after visiting the home to check on the cats the gentleman passed away. We believe he let go after knowing someone would save his cats.

Please help us raise funds to have these cats seen by a vet. They will all need blood panels and tooth exams which could potentially cost $500 plus per cat.
We are hoping to place the cats with rescue groups and do not want to financially burden any one of them.

Since the gentleman has passed the landlord wants the cats moved ASAP.  We do not have much time before Animal Control will be called.

Please help us honor Mr. Ortner who surely loved his cats. They were his precious companions while he suffered in silence, battling cancer. They deserve to go on to loving homes to live out their lives.
