Save the Purple Coffee Truck!

Hello! Many of you already know me, Alex, your favorite Caffeine Dealer, and my story, but if you don't here it is:

I started Cafe Alejandro about 1 year ago; jumping through all the bureaucratic hoops, the permitting, the licensing, designing and creating the most delightful mobile cafe, and then sourcing (not easily) the perfect truck. Figuring all that out, was an exhaustive process. Truly next-level learning and experience. I was ready.

Got the truck, built out some of the inside that needed tweaking for a cafe, moved in all the espresso equipment goodness, and got the truck "wrapped". Poof! I was in business and ready to start dispensing the best Mochas this town has ever known.

Opened up to the public on August 15th, 2023 and it has been a constant learning experience and I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I love what I do and the exuberance of people upon drinking my coffee creations at the Purple Coffee Truck is like nothing I've ever experienced.

And then Sunday, February 11th I was coming home from a day of vending, when a tremendously wrong noise started coming from the rear of the truck.

I brought it into my mechanic (not an easy thing, working on a commercial food truck) and the Rear End needs to be rebuilt. This is a catastrophic repair and requires the truck to be in the shop for one week and will cost $6000. This is my SIXTH month in business, and there is not at all that surplus of savings to accommodate this repair cost. And also to supplement the lost income of being in the shop a week, plus the truck being stationary till it gets to the shop.

This is a horrendous scenario of either having the truck repaired, or Cafe Alejandro closes permanently and that is the END of the Purple Truck.
