Save the Native Ireland Seed Bank
Can you help me preserve the native wildflower seeds of Northern Ireland and Ireland?
I’m Mike Thompson, a volunteer at True Harvest Seeds in County Down, Northern Ireland.
True Harvest Seeds currently runs the largest seed bank in Ireland, out of a portacabin and shipping containers in a field near the town of Strangford.
They need planning permission for a proper building to clean, store and regrow the native endangered species.
Can you help me raise the money needed to fund some of the build?
With the land secured, we can apply for planning permission, which will unlock the opportunity to receive government funding towards the building costs.
We have also recently launched a donors’ subscription box which is available on our website, trueharvestseeds.org
We need to reach just 10,000 people worldwide, people who love the planet and could donate £5 to see the future of the seed bank secured.
Thank you for anything you can donate.
