Save The Music At Clear Mountain Food Park

Hello everyone, We have started this fundraiser on behalf of the Clear Mountain Food Park and all of the entertainers, vendors, food truck owners, and operators for which the food park was created.
What was once an empty lot filled with overgrown weeds and used by semi-trucks for overnight parking, has been transformed into a family-friendly, pet-friendly indoor/outdoor food park. This venue provides financial income to thousands of people, including the very Township that wishes to ban the music element that helps make the food park a financially viable business venture.
To defend itself against this suit, the venue must retain and pay legal counsel.
Williamsburg Township has infinite legal services at their disposal, while the Clear Mountain Food Park does not. This is truly a David versus Goliath scenario, and with your small donation, this fundraiser can help level the playing field.
The Clear Mountain Food Park has invested over $300,000 into building the facility and creating a safe environment for everyone to enjoy. The venue maintains a staff of both part-time and full-time employees that rely in the venue to provide for their family. The venue creates an environment that financially benefits independently owned and operated street food purveyors by bringing hundreds of people from the community together every weekend to enjoy the outdoor venue, food and entertainment. The venue also creates revenue for the many Farmers Market vendors that attend every Saturday by providing them with a place to sell their unique hand-crafted items. The venue generates additional income for all of the local musicians that perform on its stage. The venue brings additional tax revenue into Williamsburg Township, benefiting the entire community.
The Clear Mountain Food Park has created a small entertainment oasis in the country where everyone is welcome. Unfortunately, a few residents surrounding the venue continually complain about the music volume at the park. The venue has made changes to help decrease the volume of performances by erecting a fence with acoustic foam panels. They have worked with the sound engineers of each band to ensure that the volume levels stay within a certain decibel level. The venue has a strict ending time of 10 PM for all outdoor live music performances. Live music at the venue runs from 7-10 PM on Friday and Saturday evenings. During the week, the venue typically schedules acoustic performers or may have a DJ for some weeknight promotions. The decibel level from the stage in all directions beyond its property line has not exceeded 67 db, which is less than the volume of standing next to a running gas lawnmower.
The suit filed by Williamsburg Township preventing "live music" performances and the use of amplified sound has had a dramatic impact on the financial well being of the park. Without the combination of "live amplified music," a wide variety of street food options and quality service staff, the venue now finds itself in a very challenging situation.
