Save The Maui Sugar Mill Saloon!

Donation protected
The Maui Sugar Mill Saloon has been open in Tarzana, CA since 1976.  This iconic bar has hosted the best in L.A. live music on it's tiny stage for years and after 9 months of Covid mandated closure needs your help!   Bars and music venues have been left behind in the conversation about helping small businesses and restaurants.   We've never been permitted to operate, even outdoors.  Our mayor and governor never mention any relief or help for Los Angeles's neighborhood bars, clubs and music venues.

Despite being closed, and doing everything possible to lower expenses, the bills continue to come in the mail slot.  Loans are nearly exhausted (and have to be paid back).   Vendors who have deferred payments for months have used up their patience and want their money.  If the Sugar Mill is to survive it needs an infusion of funds to continue to pay the bills while we wait for this pandemic to end.

We would be immensely grateful for any help you can give.  Frankly, we hate to ask, but it's come to this.  The support you've shown over the years - customers, bands, everyone - has been overwhelming.  Please know we don't ask for help easily.  Thanks!
