Save the Lombardo House

Donation protected
During the storms late on June 21, 2019, a very large tree fell on the house of long time St Elmo residents.  Rosie and Annette Lombardo have lived in this house for 60 years.  The sisters made it out safely and have a place to stay.  There is an unknown level of structural damage as well as a massive tree covering the entire roof.  Unfortunately, there is no home insurance.  While a team of people are reaching out to various charitable organizations and churches to help with rebuilding, the IMMEDIATE need is to pay for the TREE REMOVAL.  Danny Birchman has agreed to get started on the work to do what he can before the rains start again.  He has also agreed to help bring in another company to do the heavy work with equipment.  This other company will need to be paid right away while Danny is willing to wait while generously offering a huge discount.  The act of Danny hiring the other company will also save the sisters money over them hiring them outright.
After the tree has been removed, the house can be evaluated to see what it will take to repair it.
One thing we have learned from living in St Elmo all these years is that we support and look out for our neighbors in need.  Thank you in advance for considering your monetary support.
More information will be provided as we know it, including more ways to help!
