Hey everyone, most of you know me as Kara or "Mama Bico", maybe even the "hot, hot pepper lady." Mama Bico's is the name of my husband and I's home based family business. My little family and I are coming forward to ask for help, as the saying goes, "closed mouths don't get fed." Well we are in dire need of short term financial assistance currently.

I want to preface this by saying that my husband TJ, known as "Papa Bico" to some or the mailman to others, has no idea I am doing this - well he probably does now that you are reading this, he's probably reading right along with you. My husband is the most prideful man I know, he works so very hard for all that he does for our little family. We have the happiest kids on the planet because of his hard work and dedication. He has never accepted a hand out in his life and I'm honestly cringing at how embarrassed and potentially even unhappy he is going to be with me when he sees this (maybe I should be raising money for my funeral instead? lol).

TJ has had to take off a lot of unpaid FMLA due to me requiring essential, life saving infusions to be done multiple times per week. This has caused us to fall behind on our bills and our bank account has been negative multiple times over the past few months. Things happened very abruptly when I was told I needed to begin infusions but absolutely imperative. We didn't have time to "figure everything out" or build a small savings for this time period but we also didn't have the choice. I can 100% tell you that if I had not began those infusions when I did, I would not even be here to type this right now.  

We have exhausted what little padding we had in our bank account and every other personal resource imaginable. Trust me, if this was not an imminent need, I would not be sharing with you the most intimate details of our life and current situation. Thanksgiving and Christmas are weeks away. We have no idea how we are going to make any of that happen at this point.

If any of our friends, family, customers, acquaintances, or even strangers find it on your heart or called to help us keep our livelihood alive, because all my husband has been trying to do is keep ME alive! We would forever be grateful and I can promise you with utmost confidence that every penny will be "paid forward" one way or another. In fact Mama Bico's donates several gift baskets to different charities, packed full of our famous peppers and items you'd want with peppers. Please help us get back to this Mama Bico's is our livelihood, giving back is our livelihood. Thank you so much if you've read this far.
