Khemraj Dhungana, a 23-year-old resident of Bannigadhi Jaygadh Rural Municipality Ward No. 5, Kalika Bahungaun, who had been working in Pune, India, has been seriously injured in a road accident.

Khemraj sustained a severe head injury and is currently fighting for his life. He is undergoing treatment at Ojas Hospital in Pune, India. However, due to the family’s weak financial condition, his treatment is being severely affected.

According to doctors, more than NPR 2 million (20 lakh rupees) will be required for his treatment.

After the death of his father, Khemraj had been solely responsible for his mother’s livelihood and the education of his two younger sisters. Now that the family’s only support has met with an accident, darkness has fallen over the household.

Following the accident, his single mother is overwhelmed with fear and worry, his sisters are restless with anxiety, and Khemraj himself is battling between life and death on a hospital bed due to financial hardship.

His paternal aunt, Mina Bhandari, who is currently in India, is earnestly appealing for financial assistance to help save Khemraj’s life.
