SAVE THE LEGS & LIFE OF U.S. DRONE ATTACK VICTIM

Tax deductible
We deeply appreciate your generous donations. With your incredible support, Adel underwent successful surgery to save his legs on May 19. Hearing Adel speak from his hospital bed, it is clear he is full of hope and gratitude.

However, doctors have advised that Adel needs three further operations: one to treat injuries to his left arm, one to address a fracture in his right hip and one for a severe bed sore which formed as a result of wounds and burns from the blast. We encourage you now to reach out to others to help us continue to assist Adel with medical care that will go some way to restore his dignity and quality of life.

In addition, Adel will need assistance with rehabilitation and recovery.

BanKillerDrones.org is raising funds to help Adel Manthari with medical treatment. (Note: WESPAC Foundation is fiscal agent for BankKillerDrones.org.)

In March 2018 Adel Al Manthari was injured in a U.S. drone attack in Yemen that killed four of his cousins. The five men were driving to the village of al-Aqla to witness a land transfer. They never made it.

Tens of thousands have been killed by U.S. drone attacks. Adel survived, but now his health is in jeopardy because he can’t afford the medical care he needs.

“I suffered severe burns on my legs and arms,” Adel said in an April 2022 interview with the Daily Beast.  “I suffered a breakage in the hip which is now hindering my ability to move.

In the four years since the attack, he has been treated for severe health problems. Unable to leave his home, his two daughters have had to leave school to care for him.

We are appealing for $25,000 to provide Adel with medical treatment in Egypt. The surgery he needs is unavailable in war-devastated Yemen.

This is just a fraction of the $150,000 the US spent on the Hellfire missile that injured Adel and killed his family. Yet, appeals on Adel’s behalf have been ignored by the United States government. A letter by Senators Chris Murphy (D-CT) and Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) to press for a U.S. investigation into this attack, and others, has gone unanswered.

This appeal represents a unique opportunity to help one survivor and his family.

Thank you very much for considering this,
