Save the Kickapoo Cats

I may a new resident of Shawnee, but I know this community wouldn't stand by if they were aware of this.

I was driving down Kickapoo and found an awful sight. 70+ cats malnourished but friendly and sweet as can be.  They were on an abandoned property where a house was previously torn down and the residents no longer live there. 
You can tell that they were previously loved and cared for because they all approached with excitement.   To be clear, none of the cats are feral.

We cannot handle this task alone. But we plan on nursing them back to health and either adopting them out one by one or getting them vaccinated, spayed/neutered, and released back to the group. These cats are located on Kickapoo just past the Shawnee mal. Visible from the road. 

For now we are feeding them, giving them water, and doing our best to clean them up. 

If you can't donate, but still have the heart to help, the cats are all friendly, and loving and could use a loving family to rescue them.  If you'd like to drive by just to pick one up and give it an awesome home, you'd help this project immensely. 

Any left over donations not used at the end of the process will be donated to an animal shelter. (If any shelter happens to reach out and help, we will split the donations between them)
