Save the Jonas Davis Log Cabin

Want to help save the Jonas Davis Log Cabin? We're raising money to  benefit the Polk County Heritage Society Inc,  and any donation will help make an impact. Through the years many school groups,  organizations and individuals have enjoyed Heritage Park. It is impossible to count the number of senior pictures, engagement pictures and family group pictures that have the Jonas Davis Log Cabin as the backdrop.  Over the years, the weather and the elements have caused major damage to the Log Cabin. It needs structural work including log replacement, new chinking, new roof and the  front porch needs to be rebuilt. This one of a kind structure is not covered by insurance, if we are to preserve the Log Cabin for the next generations, we must raise money to make this happen.
