Save the Ibiza Lizard!

Hi I’m Mike & I live in Ibiza. We have a serious problem on this island. The Ibiza lizard, a species unique to this island, is under serious threat from invading snakes. Snakes are not indigenous to this island, they’ve been brought in from people importing trees that don’t belong here. This has been going on for many years and we are now at the point where the invasive snakes have taken over and their main food source, is the Ibiza lizard. As you can see from the picture, the Ibiza lizard is beautiful and is in serious danger. When I came to this island, four years ago, I saw that there was a serious lack of outdoor recreational activities, that were free. So I started a weekly hike where anyone can come and join us for free and enjoy nature on this beautiful island. We now have over 1700 members. With the funds raised here, I intend to buy a large supply of state-of-the-art snake traps and as me and my group walk the entire island, we will lay and collect these traps, to eradicate these invasive predators. Please give whatever you can to help support this cause and save this magical creature.
