Help us save the Hubbard House!!
The Hubbard House was built in 1887 in Olathe, KS and is up for demolition due to a new development that will be built on the land that the house is sitting on. The house is sitting right where they plan to put a road so the house cannot stay in its current location.
However, there is HOPE! The developer/owner has verbally committed to giving Trilogy Cultural Arts Centre the Hubbard house!!
The Olathe Historical Preservation Board has committed to helping Trilogy find a new lot to move the house to that would be conducive to running a fine arts school!
There is much work to do and we need your help! Spread the word! A project this size needs a community of supporters to see it through!
Not only do we need the lot but it is estimated $50,000 to move the house. A new foundation will need to be poured, all new utilities installed, repairs, and it will need a new roof too.
