Save the home of The Bluey & Alice Bunny Refuge
Donation protected
We are the committee and volunteers of the refuge & we want it to be able to continue.
Since the beginning, 2014, The Bluey and Alice Bunny Refuge has been located in Carolyn McInnes’ home in Cockatoo Victoria. Starting with just 12 bunnies rescued from uncertain futures, it has grown, with more than 80 bunnies currently in care or fostered. The property now has three specially designed areas to provide care and rehabilitation for abandoned and neglected bunnies.
Carolyn works full-time and runs the refuge with the help of her dedicated team of volunteers, committee and funds from generous donors.
The property that houses the refuge is part-owned by Carolyn, and it has come time for the co-owner to withdraw. The refuge will face closure if we cannot raise funds to buy out the co-owner. Please help us raise enough money to buy the property for Carolyn, so she can continue saving the vulnerable bunnies. All money will go directly to purchasing the property for Carolyn to save the Bluey and Alice Bunny Refuge.
Any funds donated directly to the refuge are eligible for a tax deductible receipt but not this to help save the property.
