Hi, my name is Elise, and I'm organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friend Brandy O'Hea and her family, who are facing the heartbreaking possibility of losing their home to foreclosure.
Many Charleston residents know Brandy and her husband, Mike, from the beloved holiday light displays they host each year — widely recognized on social media as the "Red House Summers Corner." For years, Brandy and Mike have spent months and countless hours transforming their home into a magical destination for Halloween and Christmas, not only for their family but for the entire Charleston community to enjoy.
If you've been fortunate enough to attend these events, you've likely sampled Brandy's world-class baked treats while being greeted by Mike, who brings joy to all as everyone's favorite Santa.
In the time I’ve known the O'Hea family, I’ve continually witnessed their kindness, generosity, and willingness to help others without hesitation. Now, it’s our turn to support them in their time of need.
Recently, a series of unforeseen challenges, including job loss and unexpected medical expenses have put them in a very difficult financial position. Despite their best efforts, they are now at serious risk of losing the home they've built with love and care over many years.
I am urgently trying to raise funds to cover mortgage payments, associated fees, and help stabilize their situation. Every contribution, no matter the size will go directly toward stopping the foreclosure process and helping the O'Hea family stay in their home.
