Save the Heart of Reid Park Barnum Hill South Pond

We need help Saving the Heart of Reid Park for all of Tucson to enjoy!
In 2017 Tucson voters voted for a one-tenth-of-a-cent sales-tax hike to be dedicated towards zoo improvements. There was no language in the proposition concerning a Zoo expansion into 3.5 acres of Reid Park public green space. This includes the South Duck Pond and all of Historic Barnum Hill and many amazing old growth trees along with valuable tree canopy in the desert.
We feel the public was hoodwinked into giving millions of dollars over a 10 year period so the zoo could take what many consider to be the nicest and most historic area of the park, the very Heart of Reid Park. We want to save it from demolition and keep it for public and wildlife use. We need help paying for expenses to get the of the word out (The City did a very poor job!) and for legal advice.
Thank you for your consideration and your help saving this valuable, public, green space for future generations!
