Save the Future of Talent Company!!

March 2020, just weeks after their official ribbon cutting, the Future of Talent Company was forced to close their doors due to the global pandemic.

Owner and director, Miss Niki Reed says she never expected to see the pandemic last as long as it did. “We had to close just weeks before our scheduled competitions, and a couple months before our end of the year gala”. 

The emotional toll of closing wasn’t the only
difficulty Miss Reed faced, she was struggling
financially as well. As she fought to keep her
business from going under, she had to decide
between taking care of her family or continue to pour money into the struggling business. 

“This decision weighed on me for months, but when I realized that we were still in the midst of the pandemic almost a year later, I had to
reflect on the fact that the economy was not going to bounce back anytime soon”. 

The Future of Talent co announced their closure in January of this year. But for Miss Niki, she remained hopeful that this would not be the end of her journey. 

“I had the idea to start a go fund me. My
business has been a huge part of the community since I opened. I’d like to raise these funds
to reopen my space. If I am able to raise these
funds, I plan to  Offer FREE dance programs for families who cannot afford extra expenses right now.”

Miss Niki hopes to be able to reopen, and give back to the community with free dance classes as a way of saying thank you for the support!!!
