Our beloved Farm Stand needs your help! On March 17th, a faulty heater in the building ignited a nearby piece of wood and started a fire. Luckily the Jackson Hole Fire Department was quick to respond and put out the flames, but the building and supporting equipment sustained serious damage and must be rebuilt/replaced.
We need your help! Help us continue the 20-year Farm Stand legacy of fresh, delicious, and local produce in our community. Our goal is to raise $10,000 through our gofundme campaign by May 31st. We hope to rebuild and improve the Farm Stand in time to open on July 4th.
The Slow Food Farm Stand is one of many programs at Slow Food in the Tetons. The farm stand sells fresh seasonal produce and packaged food on behalf of small-medium local and regional producers that adhere to good, clean and fair growing practices. We also work with a small distributor in Utah to source fruits and vegetables that are not available in Teton Valley.
Slow Food in the Tetons is a local chapter of an international organization. Our vision is a Jackson Hole community where local, healthy food is accessible and available to all. Our mission is to grow our local and regional sustainable food economy by supporting producers, educating consumers, and connecting them together in the spirit of good, clean and fair food.
