Please Help Keep the Sanctuary Afloat While We Build a Permanent Future

For the past seven years, my farm has been a safe haven for animals with nowhere else to go.

Through Erin Regan Animal Sanctuary & Rescue, we've given hundreds of animals a second chance—from dogs pulled off euthanasia lists to seniors, major medical cases, abuse survivors, and animals that simply needed more time than a shelter could provide. Hundreds have gone on to loving forever homes. Others remain here in sanctuary care with nowhere else to go. Our entire country is in a severe animal overpopulation crisis and adoptions have been slow, especially for the harder-to-place animals (like large breed only-pet dogs), which is what we have often specialized in.

I volunteer full-time for the rescue and do not receive a salary. Rescue donations are used exclusively for the animals' veterinary care, food, medications, supplies, and daily needs. They cannot legally be used to pay my mortgage, vehicle, or other personal expenses.

Those expenses are covered through my two small businesses, Run Motivators and Bee Bubble Couture. But as the rescue has faced many challenges since my husband moved away over 3 years ago, so have the demands on my time. Caring for the animals, farm, and home often leaves very little time to generate the income needed to keep the property afloat.

When I first created this fundraiser, my dream was to somehow raise enough money to purchase another farm before losing this one.

Today, I have a better plan.

In the coming weeks, Erin Regan Animal Sanctuary & Rescue will launch the Roots of Compassion Legacy Campaign, allowing the organization itself to purchase and own a permanent home for the rescue.

Until then, I simply need time.

This fundraiser exists to help keep this property afloat while I continue finding homes for the animals, rebuilding my businesses, and working toward a future where the rescue—not me personally—owns its forever home.
