However, they face a very difficult and fast-moving court process. A judge already held a “final” hearing while they were still in detention and, without reviewing the case materials, ordered the family’s deportation, citing a mistake on their asylum request form (I-589).

The family does not yet have work authorization, so they cannot afford a private immigration attorney on their own. Without qualified legal representation, they risk being sent back to detention and deported to the country where they face serious danger.

Friends! Please help this family get out of detention! A family with 5‑year‑old twins has been unlawfully held in a Texas detention center since October 5, 2025. They requested political asylum from the Russian government, where they face serious danger. The father was repeatedly detained and tortured by Russian security forces. The mother, while pregnant, was beaten and lost her baby.

After arriving in the U.S., the family passed their credible fear interview and received a positive determination — yet ICE continues to hold them illegally.

Pro bono attorneys are unable to help; they urgently need a private attorney.

The conditions in detention are horrific for the children: widespread viral illnesses with inadequate medical care; the kids sleep with the lights on and are woken up every night by staff — their sleep is constantly disrupted, causing mental health problems. These are torturous conditions. The children refuse to eat because there is no proper nutrition: the only fruit they get is apples, there are no vegetables at all, and they are forced to eat canned food with no nutritional value. There is no preschool or school education — the children are regressing. Staff often treat migrants in a discriminatory way and frequently threaten to separate the children from their parents.

And this isn’t even the full list of problems — the biggest issue is their unlawful detention. Under U.S. law, families with children cannot be held for more than 20 days.

"Друзья! Помогите семье выбраться из детеншена! Семья с 5-летними двойняшками уже с 5 октября 2025 года незаконно удерживаются в детеншене в Техасе. Семья запросила политическое убежище от правительства России, где им угрожает серьезная опасность. Отец подвргался задержаниям и пыткам от российских силовиков. Мать, будучи беременной, подверглась избиению и потеряла ребенка.Прибыв в США семья прошла интервью на страх возвращения и получили положительный результат, но сами же айсы их незаконно удерживают!

Пробоно адвокаты не способны помочь, нужен частный адвокат.

В детеншене ужасные условия для детей: распространение вирусных заболеваний, при отсутствии достаточной медицинской помощи; дети спят при включенном освещении, каждую ночь будят персонал - происходит нарушение сна и, как следствие, развитие разного рода проблем ментального здоровья - это пыточные условия; дети отказываются есть, отсутствие правильного питания для детей, из фруктов только яблоки, овощей вообще нет - дети вынуждены питаться консервами, в которых нет полезных свойств; отсутствие дошкольного и школьного образовния - дети деградируют и регрессируют; дискриминационное отношение у персонала к мигрантам, частое запугивание разделением детей от родителей. Это не весь список проблем, но самая основная - незаконное ужержание под стражей. По законодательству семьи с детьми не могут быть задержаны более 20 дней!
