My name is Jonny Delistathis, son of Mike Vasili Delistathi.
My family built, with their own hands, a small taverna in the nature of Corinth, Greece 20 years ago.
It wasn’t just a business. It was our home, our life’s work, a place filled with love, creativity, and the spirit of hospitality that welcomed people from all over the world.
Today, everything my parents built is at risk of being lost.
In 16 days, the bank is auctioning off our home and our family business.
On 26 November 2025 the bank will put our family home and studio in Bozika, Korinthia up for auction. The legal debt is 50,000, but the bank has costed the property at 70,000. Our lawyer says there is one last chance: if we secure 50,000 immediately, we can halt the auction and buy the time and legal space needed to save the property.
This place is not just bricks. It is the life’s work of Mike Vasili Delistathi — a sculptor who spent decades transforming scrap metal into powerful, honest art. For 20 years our family built this house and studio with sweat and devotion.
What we plan to do if we succeed:
Preserve Mike’s archive and permanent collection.
Convert the site into the Mike Vasili Delistathi Foundation — a museum, art residency, workshop space and cultural hub.
Host exhibitions, residencies, educational programs and collaborations with art schools and universities.
Keep the space open to the public and to future generations of artists.
How the funds will be used (transparent):
Immediate settlement/legal measures to stop the auction: 50,000–55,000.
• Legal and administrative fees to secure temporary suspension and start foundation paperwork: €5,000–€7,000.
Our lawyer estimates ≈€50,000 as the realistic minimum to secure the property and buy us the time to formalize the Foundation.
We are asking for help now because time is gone. Even a small donation matters — and sharing this campaign is equally powerful. If we don’t stop the auction on 26/11, the house, the studio and all that my family built can be lost forever.
Organizer: Jonny Delistathis, on behalf of the Delistathi family.

If you can give: donate. If you can’t: share this link widely — to friends, art schools, cultural groups, journalists, anyone who values art and heritage. We will publish updates and show receipts for every euro used.
This is not a fundraiser for comfort. This is a fight to preserve a life’s work and a place that can give artists a future. Please help us save what we built with our hands.
