Disney saved the day, we now perform to donate to others!

Disney Update!!!

Dear all we have had the most wonderful news today! After a week of stress and anxiety I am pleased to say that we will be going to Disney!!!!

Disney waved its magic wand and are not requesting us to pay the missing balance that Class Talent Ltd did not pass on that we paid to them.

I would like to thank everyone for the huge outpouring of support and help it meant the world to myself and the students.

The planned concert for the 9th August will go ahead - The performers would still like to perform for you so the show scheduled is still going ahead. Any money raised from that or any other fundraiser will then be split between the children’s charities Sparkle and When you wish upon a star this promises to be one amazing night of talent

Hi, my name is Sharon Higgins BEM, I am principal of my own dance Academy. In August of this year, I was all set on taking 39 of the students to perform at EuroDisney, Paris. The group had to audition for this opportunity last year and, to be able to perform at such a location is certainly a dream for all involved. Rehearsals have been held outside of normal classes and those performing have worked hard to get their routines and songs ready!

However, after paying Class Talent Ltd the full balance in June last week I was dealt the awful news that they had gone into liquidation, and after several anxious days waiting for news, I was informed that, because the payments had not been forwarded to the relevant vendors, the majority of the money had been lost and we have been unable to contact Class Talent Ltd since.

Understandably, the students are devastated to have such an experience stolen from them just three weeks before they were due to depart. However, not one to be beaten, with the help and support of some very determined parents and theatre friends, plans quickly took shape to raise the colossal £25,000 shortfall needed to get the students to Paris.

I am very grateful and humbled for any donation that we receive. I have some amazing parents supporting me and we will not rest until we reach the target and get these amazing children to perform at Euro Disney in just a few weeks time.
