Hello, my name is Brandon Dade (thus the name and title).

During the past 2 years, I have been entrapped in fighting legal battles after multiple run-ins with local police. These legal battles have been extremely tolling, but ultimately, I was able to win most of my cases in district court (2/3). In my first case, the one I lost in district court, I sadly never received a fair trial. The unseated retired judge asked for the officers for their opinion on my lawyer's probable cause notion which is unorthodox and ethically questionable when dealing with law enforcement on the notion of probable cause.

For my third case, after the judge ruled in my favor on the notion of a lack of probable cause in district court, the prosecutor decided to appeal. This astonished my lawyer who has never in his 12 years of being a criminal defense attorney ever had prosecution appeal a verdict. After meeting in a superior court, the police officer in question proceeded to change his story under oath.

The officer's new testimony which he presented in the superior court included statements that contradicted his prior testimonies made in distinct. When it was pointed out by my attorney (which I personally paid for) to the judge that the officer had reviewed the body cam and then seemingly changed his story, the judge said he would take this into consideration.

After more back and forth, it was then ruled that there was probable cause with the officer's new testimonies. I was befuddled & bewildered by the fact that my efforts, time, and money were just abruptly taken from me over what appeared to me to be a blatant lie about my character, despite winning in district court. I was now being told that I was a criminal and that I would be going to jail, as well as having to spend more money for sentencing that I was priorly acquitted of.

This GoFundMe is my attempt to raise money to afford an appeals lawyer who will take up my case and get me exonerated for a crime I did not commit. If this is successful, there will be a possible chance for restitution of my free will, time, and money spent fighting these false allegations.
