Save The Cosy Coffee Corner!

Donation protected

As you may have heard by now, Mel, who runs The Cosy Coffee Corner, is being forced to close the coffee shop in December 2023 after being served notice to vacate the premises two years before the lease was due to end and after investing her life savings in the business to turn it into the wonderful independent coffee shop we love.

The last few years over the pandemic have been very difficult and not only is this a huge loss for Mel personally, but it also means the loss of jobs for her team and will leave a huge gap in our community at Bank as yet another small independent business in the City closes.

While the Church will be purchasing the remaining stock of branded coffee cups and custom shop fittings, Melina faces huge losses as a result of the closure and the loss of her business.

After discussing with Melina she says the best we can do to help her is to purchase the remaining branded stock in the shop and to contribute towards the costs of the closure.
If you can spare anything, please contribute to help Mel’s future and The Cosy Coffee Corner team. Thank you for reading.
