We need your help!
Due to the COVID-19 virus, we were forced to close The Comedy Clubhouse to the public. As a result of the closure, we are in a desperate situation and can't cover the mortgage, taxes, insurance, utilities, and staff.
This crisis threatens to close our 25-year institution permanently. We need your help!
By raising these funds, we can make the payments for the next 3 months and allow us to survive this difficult period and distribute some financial resources to our regular staff.
Not only do we provide laughs and relief to our local community, we help many organizations raise funds including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Girl Scouts of America, the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, the Hillel Foundation, Esperanza Health Centers, Young Associates Board, to name just a few.

The Comedy Clubhouse is run and managed by One Group Mind, a developing Guild of over 150 comedians and improvisers that pay monthly membership dues in exchange for training, performances, perks, resources, opportunities, and compensation.
Since The Comedy Clubhouse's establishment in 2015, we've become the highest rated Comedy Club in Chicago with a 4.9/5.0 on Google (271 reviews, next one at 4.7), 5/5 on Facebook, and a 4.5/5.0 on Yelp.
Our Main Stage Theatrical, Wishin' Control, was a critic's pick in Performink. We were a finalist for the Chicago Reader's Best Venue for Stand-up in 2019. Our show Toasted was the Chicago Reader's Nine Places for Laughs in 2019 (and beyond) and a Must-See Show from The Torch. We were named a Best Comedy Club Near You by Urban Matters and a Top 13 Comedy Club by Time Out Chicago.
Our performers have continued successful television and film careers on The Office, Community, Arrested Development, Saturday Night Live, Reno 911!, the Jimmy Kimmel Show, The Mindy Project, Last Man on Earth, Key and Peele, Parks and Recreation, the Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and the Ellen DeGeneres show, to name just a few.
We also financially support The Titanic Players at Northwestern University, the only 2-time winners of the international College Improv Tournament. There are over 30 members on 4 teams on the Northwestern Evanston campus.
