Save the children’s climbing frame!
Donation protected
Hey there! We're working hard to save the children's climbing frame on Linzell Estate, a beloved spot that's been part of play for over 20 years. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a real difference for our kids who rely on it for imaginative play.
Due to the lack of Hackney council funding the council have refused to repair the climbing frame and have ordered its removal all together and they are not replacing it with anything.
The council have been quoted £3500 to repair the frame by one of their preferred suppliers.
We are planning on raising funds to have these repairs completed and save the climbing frame.
Children visit the playground daily on their walk home from school or living locally. The climbing frame is the most used piece of apparatus; giving children open ended play. It has been an ice cream shop, castle, princess palace, pirate ship and den to name a few.
Please come together to to save this climbing frame and donate anything you can.
Thanks in advance and we hope to see you and your little ones playing in the near future.
