My name is Sean Howard, and I am the current General Manager at The Brown Hotel. The Brown Hotel is located in Downtown Indiana, Pa. You can visit our website at brownhotel.net, or interact on our facebook page by visiting www.facebook.com/downatthebrown.
I was notified by Indiana Borough Code Enforcement that the southeast portion of the building’s brick veneer was detaching from the building, and after further investigation, they required that the problem be fixed within 20 days. The project itself costs $22,000 minimum.
If I dont raise the funds as soon as possible, then the borough will charge us a $1,000/day fine.
This challenge will force us to close. Our bank rejected further funding, and we are out of options.
All money raised through this campign will go directly into the structure upgrades, and sustaining the project so it can continue.
The Brown Hotel is for everyone. Live Music, affordable drinks, and has the potential to be a downtown hotel, and fabulous restaurant.
This campaign is not just for me. Its for everyone who let the Brown Hotel be a part of their life. For everyone who is a part of its history, a building that has been in exsistence since 1876.
