Save the Basque Restaurant

Authentic Basque restaurant, family run for 18 years cannot survive Covid19.  The restaurant was denied numerous applications for SBA funds (both EIDL and PPP).  We are behind on rents and overhead bills.  To get started again we need $8000 in rents , $5000 in PGE , and water, sewer and food inputs.  I addition, we need to pay CDTFA nearly $20000 to reopen.  If this does not happen a family dream and livelihood will be lost.  The Matxain Etxea Basque Restaurant of San Juan Bautista is a favorite of many and one of the last authentic Basque restaurants left in California that used to be known for its Basque shepherds.  Please spread the word.  The Matchain family will be forever grateful.
