Save the Automobile Driving Museum

The Automobile Driving Museum is a non-profit organization founded by Stanley Zimmerman and Earl Rubenstein in 2003.  Originally located in West LA., today, the ADM is proudly situated in the beautiful beach city of El Segundo. The inspiration and vision of the museum was nurtured by the founders’ love of vintage and historic vehicles with the core belief that each vehicle in the collection should be driven, as the original manufacturers intended, and the public allowed to touch and ride in the collection a level of preservation often overlooked by other museums.

Today, the Automobile Driving Museum is celebrating vintage and historic automobiles, offering rides to the public every Sunday (weather permitting), and hosting car shows and cruises every month.

Our museum was mandated to temporarily close due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which greatly affected our financial stability. Our organization depends greatly on funds from facility rentals, admission to the museum, and donations from guests, but this closure has ceased all normal income.

We are all too aware of the financial hardships placed on our community members and local businesses, but only with your support and generosity can we continue to achieve our goals and preserve the Automobile Driving Museum for future generations.

Contributions ARE tax-deductible. Automobile Driving Museum is a California 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

While we have made great strides in the direction of self-sustainability, the Automobile Driving Museum still has a lot to accomplish.

We need your support in order to complete our Edsel Ford exhibit, “Under the Iron Fist,” highlighting the life and accomplishments of Edsel Ford. Additionally we are in great need of funding for our restoration and preservation efforts to better our collection of automobiles and other historic artifacts.

Our much-needed repairs include:
• Automobile Restoration and Preservation

• Exhibit Installation

• Ballroom Restroom Repair

• Facility Restoration

• Lighting Repairs

If you have any questions, we would be happy to provide more information about how you can help support our work at the Automobile Driving Museum.
