Save the 2025 Worthing Pride Parade

Established in 2018, the Worthing Pride parade has gone from strength to strength each year. Showcasing the support from local groups, the parade has always aimed to celebrate diversity and inclusion in our town. Sadly this year, with the economical pressures facing us all, we are yet to secure a sponsors to assist with covering the costs of this years Parade.

This years event has seen costs increasing on all front and now more than ever we need support in ensuring the Parade main a key aspect of worthing Pride. Each year we have to provide insurance, road closure costs, planning costs which in are budgeted to £6,000. This year we are yet to secure any support for the costs and we cannot absorb these as an organisation.

All monies raised from the parade go to the running of the event, we would love to be in position to raise enough money to ensure this Parade can continue and ideally become 100% free for entrants if we can cover the costs with fundraising or sponsorship.

If we exceed our target all funds will be added to the main event, where we are supporting the Clare Project 'Transgender Support': https://clareproject.org.uk/

If we do not reach out target and the Parade still does not go ahead - all funds donated will go directly to the Clare Project.
