Hey there, I'm Ted and I've lived my past 5 years in Glasgow, Scotland. I love my life here. I've found a family here. And I want to build a sustainable life here.

I am currently on a Tier 4 Student Visa and now that I've graduated from Strathclyde University, I'd like to stay in the country fairly and legally. Unfortunately, it's been difficult finding a job. I've been working shifts and freelance work to make ends meet, but this Visa will cost me £2950 which is roughly equal to $3880.

Right now, I hope I'm able to raise the money on my own working as a bartender in the Christmas market. But I don't know if my manager will give me the 22 twelve-hour shifts that I need to make my goal. So I'm looking for support.

If I don't get a Graduate Visa, I won't be able to work in the UK. Every time I want to see my friends again I'll have to pay for an international plane ticket and I'll only be able to see them for a limited amount of time. I've spent the last 5 years building personal and professional connections in Glasgow. I don't want to start my life over at 34 with no friends, no money, and no job.
