Save Pial’s family from drowning after he—the only breadwinner—was taken away by COVID-19.
Pial was the Father of Two bright students Raisa 12 years & Pue 4 years old. Raised your hands to save them from the cruel reality of poverty. They are in a vulnerable condition of losing their Shelter, food education and other basics.
COVID-19 is a crisis for everybody in the world. But this family is in such a country where no one is able to help the community. Sacrificing one cup of coffee can change Raisa & Pue unfortunate future.
Piyal was born in an aristocratic business man’s family in Chittagong, Bangladesh. Unfortunately he also lost his parents at the age of 16. After losing his parents he had to sacrifice his bright future and dropped out of school, trying to hold the family’s helm. At a young age, as he was also a bright student, he never concentrated on family’s business over study. So, lack of experience didn’t help him to hold the family together.
He moved to Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh for survival and started working at his Step uncle’s Restaurant. His dream was to provide opportunity to his children which he could not accomplish (unfinished education). Within a short period of time his loving innocent smile, simplicity, honesty and hard work not only won his Step uncle’s heart but also every staff and customer of the restaurant. For his excellent leadership skills he became the General Manager of a famous restaurant “Dhanshiri Restaurant” Gulshan 2, Dhaka, Bangladesh. He devoted his life for the betterment of the restaurant and got married a little late, becoming father of two beautiful princesses. Later he left the restaurant for the betterment of his family. Then he started business in the stock market and was doing great for two years. But it was just before the COVID-19 pandemic that the stock crashed and he almost lost all his capital and ultimately COVID-19 didn’t spare him as well.
The pandemic started. He stayed in isolation along with his family. He was so scared that he never went outside of his house because of his pre-existing condition along with serious asthma. On May 25th he got fever, June 3rd he lost his sense of smell and taste. On June 5th he was having shortness of breath and tried to get admitted into the hospital for oxygen support. He drove to six hospitals but all of them refused him. Finally one expensive hospital admitted him where he had spent most all of his life savings in the last five days of his life in that hospital. He unexpectedly left his family behind on June 10th.
Please help this family to survive in this tough world. Any form, sort or amount of donation can help this family to at least go through a few years to come by. It will help the kids directly for their daily regular expenses like rent, food, health and school.
