Save Tamera: Urgent Surgery Needed
Donation protected
Pittie Posse alum, Tamera, needs our help!
Sweet Tam is currently at an emergency veterinary clinic, fighting for her life after ingesting a foreign object—likely a piece of one of her beloved toys. Destroying toys has always brought her so much joy… but this time, it could cost her everything without life-saving surgery.
Since Saturday, Tamera has been under close monitoring, giving her body time to pass the object on its own. Unfortunately, that hasn’t happened...
Today, she is under anesthesia receiving the critical surgery she needs to survive.
Her amazing adopters didn’t hesitate when the vets said surgery was necessary. They would do anything to save her.
But they couldn’t have anticipated a veterinary bill already exceeding $9,000, with costs still climbing... Imagine what it would feel like to face such a financial burden at the end of the holiday season.
Tamera’s family gave her a chance when no one else would, and now we need to step up to help them.
If you don’t remember Tamera’s story, here’s why she means so much to all of us.
Last February, Tamera came to us in the most heartbreaking way. She entered the shelter as part of a bonded pair but was tragically separated from her other half.
Alone and scared, she found herself on the euthanasia list...
At the very last minute, we decided to save her. But the shelter staff told us it was too late—Tamera had already been put to sleep.
In what can only be described as a miracle, we got a call the next morning: Tamera was alive. The shelter staff had missed her during their rounds.
Tamera is a fighter. She’s a miracle. And she’s a source of endless love and joy to everyone who meets her.
She deserves more time to live the full, happy life she’s always wanted—one filled with slobbery kisses and belly rubs.
We’re asking for your help to make that possible.
Every donation—no matter how small—will go directly toward easing the financial burden of her life-saving care. Together, we can show Tamera’s family that they’re not alone and give Tam the future she so deeply deserves.
Thank you for standing with us and with Tamera,
