Taco Tico in Claremore, OK has been serving the community and visitors from surrounding states since 1962. As the owner and franchisee, I’ve dedicated 40 years of my life to this restaurant, and I’ve seen firsthand how much it means to our customers. People travel over 100 miles just to enjoy our food, and many share stories of family traditions and memories made at Taco Tico. At one time, there were over 100 Taco Tico locations nationwide, but now only 22 remain, with Claremore being one of just two in Oklahoma. Our restaurant is a gathering place for friends, families, and longtime staff who have become like family over the years.

Recently, the property owner put our building up for sale, and there’s a buyer interested in tearing down Taco Tico. I’m determined to save our restaurant and keep this piece of local history alive. The funds raised will go directly toward the down payment needed to purchase the building and secure Taco Tico’s future in Claremore.
