Sweet Peas and Buttercups Preschool and Childcare-- It has been Shanon's dream to own this property so that she can develop it into its full potential.
The beautiful property and house that Sweetpeas and Buttercups has been operating on for 11 years is going on the market. Miss Shanon, owner of this amazing Lifeways inspired preschool and childcare has been renting and would love to buy this property in order to keep her doors open for many years to come. Many children and families have called this place a home away from home because of her warmth, generosity, and passion to put the well being of children above everything else. Bend is also suffering from childcare shortage right now, and it would just be devastating to the whole community if she had to close her doors on this property.
Shanon has already come up with some of the down payment. She needs funding to help with closing costs. In addition to the $12,000 needed to help with closing costs anything extra will go towards trying to keep her operating costs the same so that she can continue to provide affordable care to the community.
I was lucky enough to find Shanon when my son was 18months. Little did I know at the time how our lives would be forever changed. While working at Sweetpeas I grew into motherhood with two children who in turn were blessed with a second mother figure in Shanon and another home in Sweetpeas. The friendships, community, and experiences there shaped our lives and have made my children who they are today. We are ever grateful and blessed to have found Shanon 7 years ago, and I hope that many more children and families can have the opportunity to grow up at Sweetpeas.
