If you know Lynne at Horse Spirit Ranch, you know she is an angel in disguise for any animal who is lucky enough to cross her path. She rescues and cares for all critters, there isn't an animal that goes without whatever they need - be it a boarder's horse who doesn't have a fly mask, and suddenly does, to a stay kitty that desperately needs a meal, Lynne is there.
Sarge is her own precious dog, and he has a desperate need of surgery to correct the following:
Liver mass
The most common liver mass in dogs is called hepatocellular carcinoma. These are typically cured with surgical excision. After surgery, we will submit the tissue to the laboratory for histopathological analysis to find out what type of tumor it is and will update you with the results.
Shoulder mass
The shoulder (prescapular) mass that was sampled at the last visit was revealed to be a probable soft tissue sarcoma. Usually, these types of tumors do not spread (metastasize) but are locally invasive. Depending on the margins we are able to achieve with surgery, surgery can be curative for these types of tumors. However, if the margins are narrow, adjuvant therapy will be recommended. This may include radiation therapy or metronomic medical therapy.
Lynne has been hit with a number of out of pocket expenses recently for animal care, and she gives SO much, let's help her get Sarge taken care of. He is a wonderful, sweet handsome boy that she rescued and gave a loving home to. Like most Huskies, he is hilarious and such great company at the barn too. He loves to run alongside of the golf cart and is a happy boy who gets & gives lots of love by everyone.
Please even if you can spare $5 - $10 or $20 anything will help to ease Lynne's burden!
