Hi everyone!
First, I wanna take the time out to say thank you to whoever reads this and helps. It saddens me to say my poor puppy Suki has a torn left CrCL (which in humans is their ACL). The vet explained CrCL disease in dogs, which was not a fun thing to hear about, and recommended she have a TPLO. They need to save as many ligaments as possible. The sooner, the better. Risks of surgery include infection/dehiscence, implant failure, need for revision/implant removal, latent/postliminal meniscal tears, iliopsoas pain, patellar desmitis, and anesthetic complications, including death. So, at the end of this month, she will have her surgery. As she just turned one in October, this is crucial for her to get this surgery now rather than later to hopefully save the leg in time. The total cost of this procedure, start to finish, will be $5,000, so any amount that you are able to donate would greatly help! Suki is a big love and the sweetest little girl, and I hate to see her suffer in this pain. I know it’s most likely a bad time for people being the beginning of a new year and the holidays just passing but thank you all so much for taking the time out again.
