Four years ago, we were told Sugar had been hit by a car and believed she was gone forever. It broke our hearts. But this past Sunday, we received an unexpected call from a shelter—Sugar is alive. It’s nothing short of a miracle.

Sadly, Sugar was found in very poor condition. She has liver failure, an enlarged heart with a murmur, severe dental disease, and is suffering from malnutrition. Despite all this, she’s finally back home with her family who never stopped loving her.
