Hi, I’m Steve – aka Lomba Bhai – and I want to share something important with you.

In my videos, I usually show the fun and beautiful side of Bangladesh. But behind the vibrant culture lies a heartbreaking reality: According to the latest report from UNICEF more than 3.4 million children find themselves in street situations in Bangladesh without parental care.

These kids sleep on concrete. They beg or collect plastic. They have no safe place to grow up, and most of them never go to school.

One NGO is making a difference: Leedo

Leedo is a Bangladeshi nonprofit that works directly with these children. They don’t just offer food — they offer futures. Their projects include:

School Under the Sky – Bringing education to the streets

Transitional Shelter – Temporary safe space for rescued children

Inclusive School – Full-time education for vulnerable kids

✌️ Peace Home – A long-term home for orphans and former street children

What’s the current situation?

Leedo is building two new dormitories at the Peace Home – one for girls, one for boys – to rescue 20 more children from the streets. The construction is funded.

But what’s missing is the money to actually support these children once they arrive.

How much does one child cost per month?

Each child costs around 5,100 Taka (about $45) per month – covering food, education, hygiene, clothes, and medicine.

To host 20 more children, they need about 102,000 Taka (around $900) each month.

Our goal is to raise enough to fund at least 6 months, which equals:

612,000 BDT ≈ €5,000 / $5,500
