Save Stormhold: Help Lucia & Family Keep Their Home

Even though I got my home, Stormhold, in my divorce earlier this year, I am currently in very real danger of losing it. Due to reasons too involved to go into in one post, my ex and I have accrued a huge debt with our mortgage company, and Stormhold is on the verge of foreclosure. We petitioned for financial assistance or a payment plan and have been denied on both counts.

My ex is going to borrow against his retirement plan to pay for some of it, but we need significantly more than he will get. I am scared, desperate, and swallowing my pride to ask my friends and family for help. In addition to this GoFundMe, I am also open to private loans with or without interest, as well as taking on any odd jobs you may have. Need something written or edited? Cleaned or organized? I’m your girl. My schedule is flexible and I am more than motivated—time is of the essence.

We love living here, and having already lived through the foreclosure of my childhood home, I really don’t want to go through it again, nor have the others who live with me experience it. Hopefully through our powers combined, we can save this strange, beautiful property in the mountains for all who live or visit here.
