Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, my local cricket club (Stokenchurch Cricket Club - SCC) is currently not able to play any matches this season. Subscription fees and money made over the bar are our regular main sources of income which keeps the club running for so many in the Stokenchurch community. 

Many now fear for the club's future as we can no longer source the finances to maintain our club without games this summer. This is not only a worry for the two mens XI's we field every saturday, but more importantly a worry for the dozens of junior colts cricket players who are eagerly looking forward to just getting out and playing some cricket at the club every week.

Volunteers already offer their efforts, diligently maintaining the ground ready for the playing season and we hope there will be time for some cricket by the end of the summer. We are a fantastic family cricket club and any donations will contribute towards ensuring players of all ages get to play cricket at Stokenchurch Cricket Club once more when this is all over.
