Many of you know Stitch — the brave husky who captured hearts when he was found abandoned, muzzled, and left to die. With a soaring body temperature of 107 degrees, Stitch nearly lost his life. But thanks to YOUR support, we brought him into our home, nursed him back to health, and, more importantly, are teaching him how to trust and love again.

Today, Stitch is a different dog — bonded to our family, our young daughter, and his new furry sibling, Luna. He has come so far. But sadly, Stitch is now facing a heartbreaking threat to the safe haven he's found.

Due to the reckless actions of a neighbor who ignored repeated pleas not to approach Stitch, our family is being forced to remove Stitch from our home. Despite video evidence showing our attempts to de-escalate the situation and protect both parties, the apartment is siding with the disruptive individual, leaving us scrambling for a new place to live with very little time and few resources.

We are devastated. Stitch has already faced the worst this world can offer — abandonment, injury, trauma — he doesn't deserve to lose his family. And he is OUR family.

While we are certainly prepared to pay rent as usual, we are unable to cover the emergency costs associated with relocation. This will help us pay for:

1. The initial security deposit and application fees to rent a new home

2. Pet deposits and fees for both Luna and Stitch

3. Moving expenses and transitional costs that come with emergency and immediate relocation.

Our goal is not only to secure a safe home for Stitch but to pay it forward — ANY additional funds raised will be used to help other abused and neglected animals in need of rescue and rehabilitation. They will be donated to the 501c3 that rescued Stitch, Anakin's Trails Stray and Pet Recovery.
