Stewie is a 7.5 year old chihuahua-pomeranian mix who needs your help.
Stewie has always been a 3-legged hopper due to a luxating patella since birth (what a trooper!)
However, Stewie's other hind leg was tragically injured by a much larger cat who lives with him. It appears the cat jumped on him while he was going out to pee and he screamed in pain and was rushed to the emergency vet.
The emergency vet has determined Stewie's discs in his spine have ruptured and he will need to have surgery to fix them. Without this surgery, Stewie will have to be euthanized as he will be unable to walk and in too much pain. However, the vet is hopeful and confident that this surgery will be able to fix the issues and Stewie will go back to living his happy and fluffy life!
The surgery will cost $7000-$10,000 and we are hoping to cover the entire cost of the surgery for Stewie and his family. They want nothing more than for Stewie to be healthy and back home for lots of cuddles.
