I’m a health educator, entrepreneur, and founder of MTHFR Support, dedicated to helping others navigate complex health journeys through genetic analysis, holistic education, and compassionate care. I also run a specialized in-home dog sitting service for miniature and toy breeds, with a focus on senior and diabetic dogs—because every life, human or canine, deserves dignity and comfort.

Today, I’m facing an urgent crisis. I’m at risk of eviction and need to raise $2,000 in the next few days to keep my home—and to protect the five senior dogs who depend on me for survival.

Franky was injured as a puppy and requires an anti-inflammatory diet.

Rosco has pancreatic insufficiency and is prone to pancreatitis, needing a rare and specialized diet.

Lily has Cushing’s disease and cannot tolerate stress; I manage her care with homeopathies because the medication is unaffordable.

Trigger lives with insulinoma and relies on a strict diet, rest, and exercise to regulate his blood sugar. Sometimes I have to intervene with insulin, peanut butter, or honey.

Cujo was diagnosed with GME and given 8 days to 2 years to live—nine years ago. I’ve kept him stable with prednisone, diet, and homeopathies.

Four of these five dogs were born in my home. Their health issues stem from a misguided breeding decision by a friend, and I’ve cared for them ever since. They are my life—and I am theirs.

I live in one of the few places that allows five dogs, with rent at just $1,200/month including utilities. But after my roommate left without paying her share on October 15th, I’ve been left with an impossible burden. I fed her and gave her shelter when she had nowhere to go. No good deed goes unpunished.

This crisis comes after a cascade of losses:

I lost my son on May 29th. My savings went to bury him.

I lost my business, mthfrsupport.com, and am now rebuilding mthfrsupport.org, which won’t generate income for at least another year.

My Facebook page with 71,000 followers mysteriously disappeared and was returned with only 800 followers.

A company I worked for delayed payment for three months, forcing me to sell most of what I owned.

I’ve had two major strokes from a car accident that caused spinal and vascular damage. I live with Marfan syndrome and am recovering from multiple surgeries, with more ahead.

I cannot work outside the home. I have no family to help. My closest friends are struggling too.

I’m asking for help—not just for me, but for Franky, Rosco, Lily, Trigger, and Cujo. They’ve beaten the odds because of love, care, and stability. Losing our home would be devastating. It would be the final blow after losing my son.
